In this paper we describe an infrastructureless indoor navigation system based on wireless inertial measurement units (IMUs). After a short calibration, only one IMU is required, that can be placed in the user’s pocket, in contrast to other approaches that require the constant use of a cumbersome foot-mounted IMU.
